Jeffrey "Jeff" Morgan Rees, 70, entered into rest on July 5, 2025.
Jeff is survived by his daughters, Juanita (Sammy) Tinsley and Selena Rees, grandchildren: Camden Tinsley, Kenzlie Tinsley, Felix Morado, and Sofia Morado, brother, Neal Jackson Rees, stepbrothers: Roger F. and Harold H. Struthers, and Marty and Steve Kratz, stepchildren: Dana Landrith, Sam Landrith, Elizabeth Landrith, and Andrew Landrith. He is also survived by many cousins.
Jeff was born in Santa Monica, California to the late Neal Alvin Rees and the late Grace Manuel Kratz. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Landrith Rees, sister, Neda Rees, stepfather, Russel "Russ" B. Kratz, and his stepmother, Dorothy Ethel Dempsey Rees. Jeffrey and Neal were raised by Neal Alvin Rees and Dorothy Rees.
Jeff was an incredibly fortunate and extremely determined person to not only function but live in the hearing world as a deaf individual. Jeff went to John Tracy Clinic, Mary E. Bennett Elementary, Mulholland Junior High for 7th-8th, 9th grade at Nobel Junior High School, and 10th grade at Granada Hills High School. It was through special training Jeff learned to speak even though he could not hear. Following his education, he started working with his father at an early age learning "the family trade" becoming a fourth-generation plasterer. Jeff was the "go to guy" in Oklahoma for his expert plastering skills.
No services are planned at this time.
