In Loving Memory of Jennifer Lyn Brockway Baker
February 20, 1974 – July 16, 2025
Jennifer Lyn Brockway Baker was born on February 20, 1974, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Bill Brockway and Rita Lilly Parker. She passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2025, at her home in Groveton, Texas.
Jennifer, lovingly known as "Aunt Pooh," had a heart full of love for her family-especially her nieces, nephews, and great-niece. Those children were her world and the light of her life. She had a vibrant spirit and was known as the life of the party, always bringing laughter and joy to those around her.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoyed creating crafts, making scented pieces, painting, and baking her special treats to share with her loved ones. Her creativity and kindness were felt in everything she did.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Brockway; her mother, Rita Parker; and the father who raised her, James "Stupot" Donnis Parker.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Jill Thompson and husband Ray of Tennessee Colony, Texas; her brother, Jason Parker and girlfriend Shasta Clark of Groveton, Texas; her nephew, Chad Taylor and wife Macey of Palestine, Texas; nieces, Celsie Taylor of Palestine, Texas, and Emrie Parker of Groveton, Texas; nephew, Cuyler Parker of Groveton, Texas; and great-niece, Presley June Taylor of Palestine, Texas.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Groveton Funeral Home. The funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Groveton Funeral Home with interment to follow at Moore Cemetery. Dennis Ivey will officiate the services.
Pallbearers: Lamar Thornton, Keith Kesinger, Lindel Dial, Trampas Hensley, Neil White, Jabo West
Honorary Pallbearers: Travis Haygood, Ray Thompson, Chad Taylor, Cuyler Parker, Dwayne Shank
