Jennifer Lynn Reed, 74, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 9, 2025. She was born on December 11, 1950 in Pampa, TX to Burton and Katherine (Barrett) Reynolds. 

Jennifer met her husband Steve while attending college at Pittsburg State University where Jennifer was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta. Shortly after Steve and Jennifer met, they were married on June 27th 1970. They started their family with the birth of Dustin, not much longer they were further blessed with the births of their daughters Stephanie and Mandy. 

Jennifer was the epitome of what it means to put family first. She was a devoted wife as well as mother to her three children who were the center of her world. From cheering at football and softball games to organizing family gatherings, Jennifer poured her heart into every moment spent with her loved ones. Known for her warm hugs, she was a constant source of comfort and joy. Jennifer was always offering a listening ear and words of encouragement. Her children fondly remember her kindness and unwavering support during both good times and bad. 

Jennifer is survived by her mother-in-law Jean Reed, brother David Reynolds, sister Judy (Reynolds) Dutra; children, Dustin (Susan) Reed, Stephanie (Jay) Pickard and Amanda (Bryan) Hodkins; grandchildren, Travis Reed, Whitney Reed, Justice Whitlock, Jacob Whitlock, Zein Pickard, Zoe Pickard, Madison Pipkin, Evan Pipkin, Jaylee Hodkins, Kaydance Zibung, Brooklynn Zibung, and great grandchild, Archer Perez, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Reed, parents, Burton and Katherine Reynolds; and her brother, Dan Reynolds.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Hope Chapel, 12480 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062 A private burial will take place at a later date.
