Jeri Curtis Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Geralde (Jeri) Macdonald Curtis, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who passed away peacefully on July 1st 2025 at the age of 80.
Jeri was a long-time resident of Safford, Arizona and spent her life serving those around her. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the gospel and her testimony of Jesus Christ never wavered amidst the many trials she had to overcome in this life.
Jeri is preceded in death by: her loving and devoted husband, Edward R. Curtis; her two sons, Andrew Macdonald Curtis and Slade Christian Curtis; her parents, Gerald Heder Macdonald and Jeanne Yvonne Sanders; and stepfather Bertrand Wilson Foote Jr. Jeri leaves behind: her six children, Lori Curtis (Michael Margolis), Scott Curtis (Misty), Amy Curtis (Jason Rowley), Sarah Curtis, Becca Goodman (Palmer) and Rachel Ellis (Jacob); along with twenty-two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Jeri will be conducted Saturday morning, July 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Safford Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Michael Peterson of the El Dorado Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
