Jerry's life was a testament to the power of kindness. He had the unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved. This attribute resonated through his personal and professional relationships, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Family was the heart of Jerry's world. He was preceded in death by his beloved son Aaron Massengill; his father, John Massengill; brothers Randy and Terry Massengill; nephew Braxton Fannon; and brothers-in-law Earl Daniels and Jeff Ford. These losses were profound, but Jerry's strength and love for his family never wavered. He is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Gilbert Massengill, who was his partner in life and love. Jerry's joy was multiplied through his grandchildren, Landon Massengill, Fitz Wohlgemuth, and Lincoln Massengill. His role as a grandfather was one, he embraced with joy and pride. His mother-in-law, Mary Gilbert, and special uncles, Rev. Stanley Massengill and Arby Fultz, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many other relatives and friends, will remember Jerry for his gentle nature and his unwavering support.
