Jessie "Wayne" Lopez, 68, of Scarbro, passed away unexpectedly in his home July 29th, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Augustine and Gloria Lopez.
He was a loving father to his daughter, Jessica Jeffries, and a very proud grandfather to his granddaughter, Skyler Jeffries.
He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and fishing in his free time. Wayne also enjoyed tinkering on anything mechanical, especially cars. He was a known jokester amongst his friends, and he always managed to get a good laugh out of the many stories he could tell about his own life's adventures.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Donna Lopez, siblings Judy Lopez and Vincent (Verna) Lopez, and many more family and friends.
His death will forever send a shockwave through the lives of those he was close too but his memories will live on forever.
Wayne's wishes specified a cremation, and a celebration of life will be held at a future date. Notifications will be sent out prior to the celebration as soon as a date and a location are determined.
If anyone wishes to send flowers, the family is asking for them to be sent to his home address, 112 Hunk Hill Rd. Scarbro, WV 25917. If you wish to make a donation to help with unexpected expenses, you may do so through the gofund me that has been set up.
