Jesus Flores Obituary

Flores, Jesus A., age 90, of Secaucus, on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Born in Matanzas, Cuba, Jesus immigrated to the United States in 1966, settling in Prospect Park. After moving from Prospect Park to Wayne, Jesus had lived in Haledon before moving to Secaucus in 2016. Jesus worked as a machinist, first for Instrument Specialties, then Dependable Machines and then Altech Machine and Tool in Midland Park before retiring. He was a former parishioner of St. Gerard Majella R.C. Church in Paterson.

Jesus was the beloved husband of Luz Flores. Loving father of Ismael Sierra of Franklin Lakes, Juan Carlos Sierra and his late wife Jane of Wanaque, Terry Sierra-Rivera and her husband Julio of Delaware, Jacqueline Flores of Clifton, Jessica Flores of Secaucus, Alex Flores of Secaucus and the late Juan Antonio Flores. Dear grandfather of twelve and great grandfather of four. Dearest brother of Emma Rodriguez and her late husband Manolo of Miami. Jesus was predeceased by his first wife Margarita Flores (nee: Martinez) in 1983.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne. Interment will follow at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Fair Lawn. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7:00-9:00pm.
