Obituary of Jesus M. Rodriguez Jr.
It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jesus M. Rodriguez Jr. (Jay), beloved father, son, brother, uncle, g-pop, friend and coworker.
Born and raised in Vineland, NJ, Jay worked for the State of NJ as Supervisor of the Grounds Dept. at Vineland Developmental Center for 33 years. Through his years of service, he developed many lasting friendships. Jay also worked at Acme in Vineland for 4 years. He always had a passion for helping others which led him to acquire a part time job at Inspira Hospital Vineland In the dietary department. Jay was most known for his work ethic. Jay had a zest for life and always made sure to reach out to his friends and family on holidays and birthdays, letting them know they were thought about.
In Jay's spare time he enjoyed softball, crabbing going to the beach and riding his street bike. Most importantly to him the past 10 years was spending time with his "princess" Nadia and lived for the days/nights with his boys (brothers from other mothers) whether it be attending sporting events, watching games on tv, listening to music and throwing back a few beers.
He is predeceased by his father Jesus M. Rodriguez Sr.
Jay is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Millville) and Nadia (Minotola); mother, Milagros (FL); sisters, Maria, Irene, Nadine (FL), Crystal (Bridgeton); brothers, Juanito (AR), Ralph (PA) and "brothers from other mothers" Jimmy, Ariel, Frank & Brad (Vineland). A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and 6 grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received from 5:00pm until 7:00pm followed by a service at 7:00pm on Tuesday July 8, 2025 at DeMarco - Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland, NJ.
