Jill R. Kelley, 68, of Neoga, IL passed away at 8:00 pm on Wednesday May 7, 2025, at her residence.
A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday May 22, 2025, at the Jewett Community Church. There will be a 1-hour memorial visitation prior to the service, beginning at 5:00 pm. There will be a private family burial at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo is assisting the family.
Jill was born on June 29, 1956, in Shelbyville, IL to Richard and Mary Belle (Fulton) Smith. She married Terry Kelley in July 1994. He preceded her in death in 2014. Survivors include daughters Stephanie Chapman (Jay Shunn), Tonya Oakley (Matt Wingler); bonus daughters Heather Radwan, Heidi (Chris) Daniels, and Teri Lyn Kelley; grandchildren Brittani (Steven) Patton, Shaina Oakley (Giovanni Salinas), Jazzmine Oakley (Dylan Morgan), Bianca Miller, Harley Pierce, Jaeda Shunn; great grandchildren Hunter, Garrett, and Delaynee Patton, Gionnis and Genevieve Salinas, and Finleigh Cummins; bonus grandchildren Kennedy, London, Alex, Landon, and Drew; sisters Denise (John) Newby, Terri (Dave) Reed, and Carolyn Smith. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, brother Kevin Smith, and son-in-law Shane Oakley.
Jill was a cook for many years before retiring. She was active attending Native American Powwows and served in the National Guard in 1985. She enjoyed genealogy, doing crafts, mushroom hunting and playing bingo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.
