Roger Lee Rasmussen passed away at his home on October 10, 2025. He was born October 27, 1946 in Provo, Utah. He was the son of Fredrick & Mary Jean Hanson Rasmussen. His siblings were Marilyn and Jerry (husband) Cox (deceased), Ronald & Sylvia (wife) Rasmussen (deceased), Joanne & Ron (husband) Thompson.
He was in the Navy for 7 1/2 years. He had many sides jobs including grave digging, moving assistant, and truck driving. He lived in Colorado, working at the coal mine. When he moved to Carlin, Nevada and worked at Barrick Goldstrike until he retired 28 years later in February, 2016 where he then moved to Nephi, Utah.
His wives and children are as follows: Donna Christiansen and son Clay Rasmussen, Judy Springer and son Roger Lee Rasmussen, Tracie Loughborough Stepson Zachary Loughborough, Daughter Cierra Rasmussen, Patricia McEwan Rasmussen, Stepchildren, Jennifer (Matthew) Milam, Travis Davis, Amy Rigby, Robert Davis (Lex), TJ Davis (Bonnie), Josh Davis, 35 Grandchildren and 20 Great grandchildren.
Viewing Thursday, October 16 from 6-8 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, Nephi, Utah.
Funeral Friday, October 17 from 11-12 am with viewing one hour prior at the church, 100 East 200 South, Nephi, Utah.
Graveside dedication following at 1150 North 400 East, Nephi, Utah.
Luncheon to follow at church:
100 East 200 South, Nephi, Utah.
