Jo-Ann C. Wordley, born on March 10, 1953, lived with her family in Glen Rock, passed away peacefully on July, 2025, after a long illness. Jo-Ann was predeceased by her parents, Melvin and Dorothy, as well as her beloved brother Douglas Wordley, who passed away in January, 2025.
A few weeks ago, Jo-Ann held a memorial service for her brother, at which time, she greeted many of Doug's former classmates, teachers and friends, and was able to reconnect with them. She so enjoyed seeing everyone.
Jo-Ann was the ultimate Mets fan and enjoyed watching every game they played. She was also the most loyal fan of the Jersey Boys Broadway show, as she attended over 700 shows.
Jo-Ann is survived by her beloved cousins, Paul Ruppel, wife Ann, Leslie Weirich, Robert Meyer, wife Cheryl, dearest friends Patricia and Rob Gustafson, Ashraf (Osh) Felfela, Andy Mosney, Bette Ellen Quiet and friend/caregiver, Patricia Kafafian Zengel.
She wanted no services and will be laid to rest beside her parents and brother at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery.in Paramus NJ
In lieu of any donation, what, Jo-Ann would love, is if you go to see a Broadway show and or watch a Mets baseball game and think of her.
