Jo Ann Perea, 59, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kearny, Arizona, to Ernestina Chiquete and Jose Perea, Jo Ann lived a life marked by compassion, strength, and unwavering love for her family.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 14 years, Lorenzie Corvin; her daughters Kristina (Kelly) and Staci; her mother Ernestina Chiquete; her father Jose Perea; her siblings Michael (Niki), Raymond (Kathy), James, Amanda (Cammron), and Andrea (Nathan); and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and seven cherished grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Perea.

Jo Ann dedicated nine years of her life to serving as a Juvenile Detention Officer, where she also met the love of her life. Her commitment to her work and her family was evident in everything she did. Known for her spirited support, Jo Ann could often be heard cheering from the stands for her grandchildren and their friends-always their biggest fan.

Jo Ann will be remembered for her unique blend of strength and tenderness. She had a way of showing love that was all her own-quiet yet powerful, steady and enduring. Her legacy is one of resilience, kindness, and deep familial devotion.

As we honor her memory, let us not dwell on the sorrow of her passing but celebrate the love she gave so freely. May we continue her legacy by living with the same compassion and courage she showed every day.

Rest in peace, Jo Ann. Your journey may be complete, but your love and influence will live on in all of us.
