Lorraine Bartlett Obituary

Lorraine L. Bartlett, aged 75, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, in Torrington, Connecticut. Born on February 22, 1950, Lorraine's life was marked by her kindness, generosity, and a deep commitment to her family, which she regarded as her most important treasure.

Lorraine was predeceased by her beloved husband, James R. Bartlett, her father, John Alfred Lawrence, and her mother, Lois B. Lawrence. She leaves behind her loving daughters, Heidi L. Bartlett and her husband, Donald L. Francis, and Alicia L. Bartlett and her husband, Joseph J. LaDuke. Her sister and best friend, Linda L. Mitchell, along with her husband, Bruno R. Mitchell, also survive her.

Beyond her family, Lorraine was known for her quiet enjoyment of life's simpler pleasures. She was an acclaimed artisan, running her successful business, Miniature Ambitions, for over four decades. Her miniature baskets, renowned worldwide, were not only sold internationally but also featured in museum displays. A lifelong animal lover, Lorraine shared her home with numerous dogs and cats throughout her life. They each held a special place in her heart. Her other passions included visits to the beach and cheering for her favorite baseball team, the Red Sox.

Lorraine's family respectfully announces that there will be no services. They invite those who wish to honor her memory to make donations to Kitty Quarters in Torrington, Connecticut, in lieu of flowers. Lorraine's legacy of love, artistry, and quiet strength will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
