Joe Luis Trevino, 51, of Littlefield, TX, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, in Littlefield, TX. He was born on January 11, 1974, in Littlefield, TX to Rene and Jackie Trevino.
Joe Luis was a handyman, a jack of all trades. He was an avid Texas Tech and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a boxing coach for the Littlefield Eagles Boxing Club. He had the honor to officiate over one of the USAA Boxing National Tournaments. He enjoyed cooking, his catfish and hamburgers were delicious. He liked to spend time with his friends and family. He was an amazing uncle; his nieces and nephews could always depend on him. He lived life to the fullest and had the best laugh. He was caring, loving, giving and would help anyone. He could argue with the best of them he was "always right". He liked to travel; Vegas was a favorite. He was a great blackjack and poker player. He loved his daughter and his granddaughter dearly and he always made sure that they had whatever they needed. He found joy in providing the things that they loved such as his daughter's favorite books that she loved to read. They knew that they could always count on him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Mandy Trevino and husband Michael Tijerina of Littlefield, TX; a granddaughter, Kinley Tijerina of Littlefield, TX; three special nephews that he helped raise, Evan McLaughlin, Kaleb Arredondo and Ayden Arredondo; three sisters, Dorothy Saenz and husband Eric of Littlefield, TX, Louisa Martinez and husband Michael of Littlefield, TX, and Sara Arredondo and husband Erric Simmons of Lubbock, TX; nieces and nephews, Randy Perez, Shane Martinez, Sasha Martinez, Asia Martinez, Megan Rosales, Ericia Perez, Nehemiah Martinez; a special lifelong friend, Bonnie Caldwell of Tulsa, OK; and many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother, Rene Trevino Jr.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Trinity Church in Littlefield, TX with Pastor Billy Montes officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Tijerina, Michael Martinez, Eric Saenz, Randy Perez, Adan Casa, Brian Morgan, Shane Martinez, Evan McLaughlin, Kaleb Arredondo and Marcus McLaughlin.
