Joe Louis Watts, 82, of Mount Airy, MD, passed away, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Dove House in Westminster, MD.
Born Wednesday, October 28, 1942, in Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late Tabb Allen Watts Sr. and the late Annie (Wheeler) Watts.
Joe was employed as a car salesman for many years. Joe enjoyed music and especially loved to sing and had a great sense of humor.
He is survived by his sisters, Jean Cabbagestalk, Geraldine Saunders, Varnice Bassfield, Beatrice Watts, Shirley L. (Marion) Maynard and Kathleen Watts, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Allen Watts, Ernest Dean Watts and Tabb Watts, Jr., sisters, Mary McNeil and Annie Mae Crossfield.
Memorial services will be held Friday, July 11, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North Hagerstown, MD, with the Rev. Dr. Gertrude Dixon officiating.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, July 11, 2025, 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Interment will be private.
