John Allen Obituary
John Darren Allen, son of Kay Allen of Benton and the late John Allen was born on June 13, 1970 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and departed his life on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Aspire Senior Living Center in Advance, Missouri at the age of 55 years.
Darren graduated from Thomas W. Kelly High in 1988 and continued his education at Southeast Missouri State University obtaining a Mass Communication Degree. He was affiliated with Benton Methodist church. Darren enjoyed social events with friends and fraternity brothers.
Along with his mother, Kay Allen; survivors include one brother, Jeff (Megan) Allen; four nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Nolan, Zane, and Meredith; several uncles and aunts, Fay Weber, Karma Beardslee, Harold (Carla) Tilley, Ray (Finae) Shoaf, and Tom (Pat) Allen; also, by a host of relatives and friends.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one uncle, Bill Weber.
Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from noon until 1:30 at the La Croix Methodist Church in Benton with Pastor Andy Ogle officiating. Funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM.
