John David Aubol, 56 years old, passed away on Monday, June 30th from complications of a stroke.
John, otherwise known as "Poe", was born July 6th, 1968, in Crookston, MN to David and Linda Aubol. He grew up on a farm near Petersburg, ND and graduated from Unity High School in 1986. John was previously married to Jane Brewster and they had a daughter, Danica.
During his lifetime, John learned many trades. He worked as a welder, iron worker, sheet medal union (HVAC) and was currently employed for CSC Services as an appliance technician.
John had many loves in his life. He loved going to antique stores and finding his treasures, riding his Harley, his dog, Bella, but his greatest love of all was his beautiful daughter, Danica – his "Little Bear".
John is survived by his mother: Linda; daughter: Danica; sister: JoDee (Rob) Dorneman; sister-in-law: Sally Aubol; nephews: Sam and Wyatt Aubol; niece: Ashley Perez; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was proceeded in death by his father: Dave; brother: Jim; grandparents: Tony and Mickey Paulson, Archie and Lorraine Aubol and nephew: Thomas Aubol.
Visitation:: 2 to 3pm Friday, July 11, 2025, at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.
Celebration of Life: 3 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2025, at West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
Following the service, everyone is invited to the West Fargo VFW for lunch and fellowship.
As a tribute to John, wearing Harley Davidson apparel is encouraged.
