CASPER, WYOMING ~ John Edward Conway tragically passed on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 58. He was born on Monday, November 14, 1966, to Edward Adolph and Nancy Ann (Kavisic) Conway in Kansas City, Missouri.
He grew up and attended school in Freehold, New Jersey. After graduating from Freehold Township High School in 1985, he attended technical school for HVAC. He went on to own several HVAC companies throughout his life, but his family always remained the center of his world. John had three children with his first wife: Anthony (Breanne) Conway, Joseph (Shelby) Conway, and Sara (Conor) Coyle. In 2001, John
married the love of his life, Rebecca Jo Conway, and moved to Casper, Wyoming, to have one child,
Catherine Conway. John was also proud of his four grandchildren, Ava, Jayda, Nora, and Cameron. At the time of his passing, John was excited to be expecting two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was an avid animal lover with a particular fondness for French Brittanys. He had numerous dogs over his lifetime that were very special to him, but at the time of his passing, his best fur friends were Henry, David, and Sean.
John also had many hobbies. Some of his favorites were gardening, cooking, hunting, and
racing his Corvettes. His garden was the talk of the neighborhood as he grew a considerable
variety of fruits and vegetables. He was also an experienced beekeeper and took pride in
smoking a variety of meats and cheeses. All of his family and friends will miss the many
delicious meals John loved to share.
John was preceded in death by all four of his grandparents, along with his brother, Michael
Conway.
John's memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin.
