Affectionally known as Captain, his joy always revolved around water; whether rescuing turtles, fishing or navigating yachts up the coast.
Although preceded in death by his LastM8, Donna Joy Johnson; John is survived by his daughter Jennifer Sylvester (Jon) and his 2 grandchildren Emily Parsons and Alex Parsons.
No formal services are planned at present. The arrangements are in care of The Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin, Maryland. Condolences may be shared with the family via www.burbagefuneralhome.com.
