John Langenback Obituary

John C. Langenback, 60, of Osceola, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, surrounded by family and friends.
John was born to Charles and Mary Langenback in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, on March 3, 1965. He grew up in Ubet, Wisconsin, where he worked on his family's farm and was no stranger to hard work.
John had a deep love for hunting, fishing, and working on motorcycles. He also cherished spending time with his family and friends. Known as the family prankster, John was always playing tricks on everyone to bring smiles to their faces. He attended St. Croix Falls School, graduating in 1983, and later became a truck driver for Prairie Lake Trucking Company. Afterward, he worked at Polaris Industries in Osceola, building Indian Motorcycle engines, which was his favorite job. He took great pride in his work.
John is survived by his partner of 23 years, Jodi Gustafson; two sons, Joshua Langenback-Cross and Matthew Langenback; his father, Charles; his brother, Marty (Bev); two sisters, Maria (Steve) Loyas and Kim (Alan) Kahl; many nieces, nephews; and his granddaughter, Navia Winston Cross. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Langenback.
