John Joseph Moffa of Havertown, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 11, 2025 at the age of 85.
John went to Monsignor Bonner and was part of one of the few classes that called themselves Men of Prendie. He graduated from Villanova with his degree in accounting. John retired from OSHA and started his own accounting business later to be joined in the practice by his wife Patty. John loved his profession, especially chatting with his clients.
John's happiest moments were spent with his wife Patty and family, especially playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who adored him. He also found great joy in spending summers at the Aronimink pool and visiting the shore, especially meeting up with friends in Cape May, where laughter and stories were shared year after year.
John was the beloved husband of Patty Moffa (McNulty). He was son of the late Arthur and Anne (Davis) Moffa, brother of Arthur (Kathy) Moffa. Father to Denise Salvatore, Kevin Moffa (Gerri), Lori Fritz (Steven). Stepfather to John (Maureen) Novelli, Kaitlin (Tommy) Capuano, Kevin (Lindsay) Novelli predeceased by stepson Joseph Novelli.
His legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Thursday. October 16, 2025 9am St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Rd. Drexel Hill, PA 19083 and to his Funeral Mass 10:30am in the Church. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
