It is with both heavy hearts and fond memories that we celebrate the life of John Jacob Pfeiffer, who passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, at the age of 96. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, John was a proud American and the first member of his family to be born in the United States.
John had a distinguished career, serving with integrity at the U.S. Treasury Department. But beyond his professional life, John was a man of many interests. John was an avid sport fisherman and competitive shooter. Also, an aviation enthusiast, John previously held a private pilot's license and appreciated aerospace design.John lived his life to the fullest, growing up on the west side of Cincinnati and raising his family in White Oak. He was a devoted family man, leaving behind his beloved children: John, James and Patricia and grandchildren: Allie, Quinn, Madison, Madalyn, Marcus, Marshall, Jessica and great grandson Richie. He cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren, often engaging them with stories of history and sharing a good crossword puzzle challenge. In honor of John's life, we invite you to join us for his Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Catholic Church on July 2, 2025, at 10:00 am, where we will celebrate the John's life and the legacy he leaves behind. Burial will be service will be at Old St. Joseph Cemetery.Though he has departed from this world, John's spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched with his love, laughter, and wisdom.
