John was born on October 13, 1968, to John Prim, Jr. and Shirley Hall
John was a US Navy Veteran.
John was a man of quiet ingenuity and abundant heart, a steward of sun and soil, wood and warmth. He found joy in growing things, whether it was tomatoes in the backyard or ideas that harnessed the power of the sun. A passionate solar engineer, John believed in a future fueled by sustainability and care. In his workshop, the scent of fresh-cut wood mingled with the promise of something lasting, crafted with patience and pride.
He cooked with the same love he gave to his garden, infusing everyday meals with generosity and just a touch of spice. Whether planning his next solar project or building a birdhouse with steady hands, John lived with intention, rooted in his values and the simple pleasures of a well-tended life.
John is the longtime companion of Barbara Griffith, brother of Christopher I. Prim and Joseph S. Prim. Stepbrother of Julie Booth, Steve Bolyard, and Alan Bolyard.
