John Kyle Robinson, 79, of Santa Fe, New Mexico was born on June 10, 1946 in Hammond, Louisiana to John Everet and LaCreta (Hutachinson) Robinson. John looked upon the face of his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 21, 2025 at his residence in Santa Fe, New Mexico
John was a skilled sketch artist, painter, and author of memoirs about his Louisiana upbringing. Embracing a free-spirited lifestyle, he appreciated visiting museums, attending art festivals, and savored fine wine and dining. He enjoyed many hobbies including, geology, photography and traveling. John treasured spending time with his family and friends, he will be deeply missed and greatly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Martin-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel, Elk City, Oklahoma. Dolan Ivey will officiate. Interment will be at Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory is one niece, Lecie Margaret McNees Langille of Orlando, Florida; one brother-in-law, James McNees of Santa Fe, New Mexico; and other relatives and friends.
John is preceded in death by his parents, John Everet and La Creta Robinson; and one sister, Carolane R. McNees.
Memorials can be made to the charity of choice in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services, P.O. Box 707, Elk City, Oklahoma 73648.
