OBITUARY
John Edward Taylor, Sr. of St. Clair, MO departed this life in Washington, MO, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, having reached the age of sixty-one years, one month and five days. John was born in Washington, MO on May 7, 1964, son of Jack Edward Taylor and Jeanette Taylor nee Williams. As a young man he was blessed to have one child. Later in life he was united in marriage to Tamara Renee Fleer.
John is survived by his wife, Tamara Taylor; by his son, John Edward Taylor, Jr.; by his brothers Steve and Bill Taylor; by siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Jeanette Taylor.
John was a devout Christian and follower of the Lord. While in high school, John earned the honors of an all state football player, state champion wrestler and was an all around exceptional athlete. He was a hard worker, during his working career he laid carpet for Taylor Installation LLC. John enjoyed listening to music What meant most to him was time spent with family and living life to the fullest. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever.
A kind and loving husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and treasured friend, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A private committal will take place at a later date. The family was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO.
