Johnnie Pearl Jacks passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 78 in Orange, Texas. Born on August 4, 1946, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to John William Terrell and Addie Bell Christy Terrell, she had been a cherished resident of Orange for the past 26 years, having previously lived in Bay City, Texas.
Johnnie was renowned for her talent as a cake baker and decorator, a skill that brought joy to many celebrations. She was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Corina Jacks of Vidor and Shelly Crawford and her husband, Stephen; her son, Glen H. Jacks, Jr. of Bridge City; grandchildren Elizabeth Patten, Emily Cook, Jessica Haislip, Trace Warner, Shane Warner, Lauren McKnight, David Crawford, Tyler Crawford, Tammy Jacks, and Corine Jacks; great-grandchildren Jude Tyson, Addison Tyson, Jax Tyson, Willow Sparks, Emma Sparks, and Rowan Gibson, with another great-grandchild on the way; and great-great-grandchildren, Alyson and Chandler.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glen H. Jacks, Sr.; her daughter, Christy Warner; and her parents and siblings.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Jacks Cemetery in Pineland under the direction of Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill.

I am blessed to have roomed and known Johnnie! She had been through so much, that I know she is in Heaven with her husband, daughter and family! Love and hugs to the family.
