Jolene Nichols Obituary

Jolene Nichols was an extraordinary wife, mother, daughter, and friend loved by all that ever crossed her path. She truly was and still is a beautiful soul that will forever be deeply missed and the memories made with her will be cherished. Jolene loved her family and the farm, she was courageous. She passed away unexpectedly from heart complications and left us all far too soon. She was the proud mother of five wonderful children: Josh, Shila, Tori, Wyatt, and Garrett. Jolene was known for her warm, inviting spirit and her ability to make everyone feel genuinely loved. Her compassionate and accepting heart touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A recent widow to Colin Nichols this last year, Jolene spent the year trying to build her business and help her family through one of the most difficult things they had ever faced. She was a loving wife and a true family woman.

Jolene was a diligent and passionate businesswoman who took immense pride in managing the Bag and Butcher Meat Shop and Flat Wallet Farm. She considered her involvement in these family-run ventures a true blessing, and she cherished working alongside her children as they built a meaningful legacy together.

Jolene's greatest pride and most cherished achievement was her children. Their successes and happiness filled her with immense joy, and she loved speaking about them with a radiant heart. She was also deeply devoted to her neighborhood friends who have become family and the communities of Forsyth and Hysham. She was especially fond of the hunters and ranchers who regularly visited the Bag and Butcher Meat Shop, where her friendly spirit fostered connection and comfort for all.

Jolene's kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will be dearly missed. Her legacy of compassion and community will continue to inspire everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Jolene was born and raised in Fernie, British Columbia. She later met Colin in Eureka, Montana which is where she married him and they started their new life together. Eventually, they made their way over to Forsyth, Montana where they would put their roots down and built their dream farm and butcher business.

Jolene is survived by her five children, Josh, Shila, Tori, Wyatt, Garrett, and her mother Wanda Hamilton.
