We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Terri Jolynn Reid-Burns on July 4, 2025 at the age of 71. She was born on March 16, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jolynn was known for her unwavering loyalty to her friends and family, and touched many lives through her kindness. She was spiritual and found joy in cooking, fishing and exploring nature. She fought her battle against cancer and COPD with unwavering courage for many years. Her humor, laughter and bravery will be solely missed. She made friends easily from her long-term accounting job at Neely Coble to her last job at Ross Department Stores. She is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years, C.J. Burns of Old Hickory, TN, her son and daughter-in-law Jay Burke and Erika Baez from Jersey City, New Jersey, grandchildren that she adored, Emerson and Keilani Burke, her sister, Beverly Murphy in Denton, Texas, her sister and brother-in-law Janet and Martin Pool in Mount Juliet, TN, and her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Jean Reid and her brother Bill Reid. "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4
