Joni L. (Muensterman) Evans, 70, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at her home.
Joni was born in Evansville, Indiana on August 16, 1954 to the late Jerome and Donna (Waelde) Muensterman. She worked as a office manager for the Evansville Levee Authority for 41 years. Joni was a faithful member of Christian Fellowship Church. She enjoyed many hobbies including: crafts, card making, crochet, sewing, iris folding, origami folding, making clothes and wreaths, and flower arranging. Joni was an avid animal lover and an a collector of Hallmark Christmas Ornaments.
Joni is survived by her daughter, Michelle Evans of Evansville, IN; special aunt, Barbara "Peggy" Foster of Rockville, IN; and cousins.
Joni was preceded in death by her parents; a brother in infancy, Randall Muensterman.
A celebration of Joni's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2200 Mesker Park Dr. Evansville, IN 47720 with Pastor Jim Neal officiating. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. In honor of Joni, please dress colorfully to attend the service.
Friends may visit from 11:00 am until service time on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Michelle Evans at Crane Credit Union to help to continue to care for Joni's pets and her home.
