Jose Antonio Orellana, 71, of Asbury Park, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025 at Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation in Holmdel. Jose was born on June 13, 1954 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and 1958 moved to Springfield, Massachusetts with his family, where he lived for the earlier part of his childhood. In 1968, they relocated to Asbury Park, where he remained. Before his retirement, Jose worked for Cable Vision for many years. He was a loving son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Jose was predeceased by his parents, Higinio Rios and Josefa Orellana Santos. He is survived by his loving children, Genevieve, Andrew, and Katherine, his adoring siblings, Zulma Santos, Junior Santos, Edwin Martinez, and Susan Santos, and many cherished grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. In respect of his wishes, Jose was privately cremated. For information or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
