Josefa Quiroz Obituary
Josefa G. Quiroz, 84, of Decatur, passed from this earth Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 at home surrounded by those that loved her.
Visitation is Noon-4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur. She will be traveling to Mexico for burial.
Josefa was born September 18th, 1940 to Roman Gonzalez and Marina Ramos in Coahuila, Mexico. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly. Josefa loved plants and flowers, it was her passion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Acencion Gonzalez and Jose del Carmen.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Maria Isabel Dominguez and husband Juan Antonio, Rosalinda Quiroz, and Guadalupe Macias and husband Arnulfo; her sons, Baldomero Lopez Gonzalez and wife Maria, Santiago Quiroz and wife Blanca, Albino Quiroz and wife Veronica; her siblings, Miguel Gonzalez, and Francisco Gonzalez;17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; extended family and host of friends.

La visitación es del 12:00 p.m. hasta las 4:00 p.m. el martes en la funeraria Hawkins en Decatur. Su entierro sera en Mexico.
Josefa nació el 18 de septiembre de 1940, hija de Román González y Marina Ramos en Coahuila, México. Era una madre, abuela, bisabuela y amiga amada para muchos que la extrañarán. La pasión de Josefa era planta’s y flores.
Fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres; y 2 hermanos, Acencion González y José del Carmen.
Los que quedan para atesorar su memoria son sus hijas, María Isabel Domínguez y su esposo Juan Antonio, Rosalinda Quiroz y Guadalupe Macías y su esposo Arnulfo; sus hijos, Baldomero López González y su esposa María, Santiago Quiroz y su esposa Blanca, Albino Quiroz y su esposa Verónica; sus hermanos, Miguel González y Francisco González; 17 nietos y 16 bisnietos; muchas sobrinas y sobrinos; familia extendida y gran cantidad de amigos.
