Joseph P. Acciani, 84, of Cranbury NJ passed peacefully on Saturday morning, June 14, 2025 at the Princeton Medical Center in Plainboro, NJ.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ and raised in Perth Amboy, formerly of Seaside Heights, he had resided in Cranbury for the last 18 years.
He was a graduate of St. Mary High School in Perth Amboy, NJ.
He was a retired custodian for many years with McGuire Air Force Base, Lakehurst NJ.
He was a former communicant of St Mary RC Church in Perth Amboy, NJ and a former member of the US Coast Guard Flotilla.
He was predeceased by his beloved parents Joseph and Margaret Acciani, his sister-in-law Margaret Acciani and brother-in-law, Alan Manger.
Joseph leaves behind his four beloved siblings; Regina Armstrong of Monmouth Junction, Mary Ann " Maya" Manger of Flanders, Tobias Acciani and his wife, Judy of White Bear Lake, MN., and Patrick Acciani of Clarksburg, NJ and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 10 am until 12 noon, with a 12 noon funeral services at the Flynn and Son/ Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.
Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Fords.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joseph's memory to St Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
