Joseph Mancini Obituary

Joseph "Joe" Mancini passed away unexpectedly on June 17th, 2025, at the age of 77. Joe was born on October 25, 1947 to Adolfo and Assunta (Pigoni) Mancini in the picturesque town of Fivizzano, Italy.
Joe dedicated over two decades of service to Coleman Cable in Waukegan, Illinois. In his later years, he could be found lending a hand at his daughter's shop, Apothecary on Main, where he was not only a fixture behind the counter but also a beloved figure to the customers and the community.
A man of many interests and unwavering commitment, Joe was an active member of the Middleville Downtown Development Authority. His passion for the local community also shone brightly through his involvement with the Middleville Farmers Market.
Prior to moving to Michigan, Joe served as a leader for Boy Scout group 347 in Crystal Lake, Illinois. His guidance and wisdom helped shape the lives of many young men, instilling in them the values of hard work, honor, and integrity. As a devout member of St. Thomas the Apostle church in Crystal Lake, Joe served as a deacon, offering spiritual support and guidance to his congregation.
Above all, Joe cherished his family, reveling in the joys of watching and participating in his grandchildren's activities. His love for his family was the cornerstone of his life, and the legacy of his love and laughter will live on through them.
Joe is survived by his children: Michael (Karla) Mancini, Ann Williams; grandchildren: Khloe, Giuseppe, Amellia; siblings: Paul (Linda) Mancini, Mary (Brian) Perry, Ana (Ray) Perry; several nieces and nephews; as well as many close cousins and extended family.
Per Joe's wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
