Joseph Nunziato Obituary

Joseph M. Nunziato, of Paramus and formerly of Fairview and Jersey City, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at the age of 96.
Joseph was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War from 1952-1954. He was loved by all who had the great pleasure of knowing him and he will be deeply missed.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Romilda Nunziato. Devoted father of John Nunziato, Roma Siri (Thomas), and Joanne Riggitano (Jim Hallihan). Cherished grandfather of Joseph (Lauren), Sean (Alyne), Raquel (Will), and Frank. Great-grandfather of Elizabeth and Sophia. Dear brother of Ralph Nunziato and late Carmine Nunziato.
Family and friends are welcomed at Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, for a visitation from 3-7PM on Monday, July 7th. A mass of Christian burial will be offered at Annunciation R.C. Church, 50 W. Midland Ave, Paramus, on Tuesday, July 8th at 10AM, all asked to meet at church. Entombment following at Garden of Memories in Washington Township.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, stjude.org or to Shriners Children's Hospital, shrinerschildrens.org.
