Joseph Sheehey Obituary

Visit the Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory - Lubbock website to view the full obituary.

Tony Sheehey returned to his Lord on July 2, 2025. His devoted soulmate Deborah and his beloved daughter-in-law Jordan were by his side when he left this earthly home.

Deborah and Tony married 13 years ago in Angus, NM. The preacher told them that there was a 90-day warranty on the ceremony and that there were no returns after that. For a long time, every two weeks Tony would tell her that he would keep her for another two weeks. Those two-week periods turned into 13 beautiful years full of love and laughter.

Tony had a wonderful sense of humor. He was an incredible human who touched so many people with his soft-spoken ways. He was kind and loving and gentle and generous. He helped so many others and always put himself last.

Tony's legacy will be remembered, and honored, by his wife, Deborah, a son, Camron Sheehey, a daughter, Alyx Sheehey, and a nephew Bryan Sheehey. Those of us who had the honor of being in his world will never forget how much he touched our souls. We will miss him every day until we meet again.

He was proud to be a member of the Lincoln County Homebuilder’s Association and was voted Builder of the Year several times by his peers. He served on the board and was President twice.

His memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Angus Church in Angus, NM. Please join us to celebrate Tony’s life as we remember what he meant to each of us.
