Joy B. Goode, 66, died unexpectedly August 13, 2024, while on vacation in Bangor, Maine. She was born July 14, 1958, in Rutland, Vermont, the daughter of Cushman A. and Erlene A. Jesseman Bryant.
Joy graduated from Foxcroft Academy, Dover-Foxcroft, ME. She went on to graduate with a 4-year degree from Aurora College, Illinois. Joy was active in her local church and served at various times in her life through choir, youth ministries, ladies ministries and Bible studies.
She married Donald (Don) Z. Goode, Jr. in 1987 and they celebrated 37 years together. Survivors in addition to her husband include siblings: David Bryant and his wife, Patricia, of Dowling Park, FL, Donna Carr and her husband Richard of Dowling Park, FL, Jim Bryant and his wife, Pam, of Bangor, ME, and Amy Beebe of Apopka, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Ecru, Mississippi facilitated by Belle Memorial Funeral Home. A service will be held 10AM, August 24th, 2024 at Ecru Cemetery, Ecru.
