She was born in Scotia, California, the daughter of Ray and Eileen Bartholf.
She selflessly worked as homemaker to take care of family most of her life and loved playing the piano in church and for a gospel quartet.
Remaining on Earth to cherish Joyce's memory are son Richard McKinney and wife Lisa, son Ray McKinney and husband Jerry, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband David R. Rogers and daughter Rhonda Herring.
