Joyce was born on April 6, 1958, in Sparta, TN to the late Casto Day and Frances White Day.
Joyce loved being a boy mom. There was never a football game that Joyce wasn't her boys' biggest cheerleader, not only in football, but in life.
Joyce loved kids and took care of all the friends that passed through her home over the years.
Joyce could never cook small and would feed anyone who was hungry.
Although Joyce loved her boys beyond words that love multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren who had her whole heart.
Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mark Morris, son, Jake Morris, and a grandson, Logan Morris.
Left to carry on her love and legacy are her sons; J.J. (Julia) Morris and Josh (Lindsay) Morris.
Grandchildren: Lydia (Jeremy) Church, Rawland, Raider, Mark Jackson, Stevie, and Mylee.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 5-8pm in the chapel of Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
