Joyce Marie Snodgrass, 80, of Callao, MO, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Boone Medical Center in Columbia, MO.
Joyce was born on March 28, 1945, in Chapman. KS, the youngest of twelve children to Vincent and Marie (Kelley) Clennan. She was united in marriage to Bill Snodgrass on August 17, 1985, in Kansas City, MO. Joyce had a great sense of humor and enjoyed traveling all over the United States, her pet dogs and cats, collecting clowns, and especially visiting with family and friends.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Bill Snodgrass, two children, Tina Marie Estes of Bumpus Mills, TN, and Terri Snodgrass Scott of Brookfield, MO, three grandchildren, Jakob, Coty and Amber, four great grandchildren, Vincent, Markus, Conor and Jensen, three brothers, Larry, Jim and Leo, and one sister, Kate and nieces, nephews, in-laws and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Joe and John, five sisters, Pat, Mary Lee, Margie, and twins Barbara and Beth.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 12:00, noon, at the Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO, with Bro. Josh Stucki officiating. Miss Joy's requests everyone wear comfortable clothes to the service, no need for dark suits or dresses. Please wear happy bright colors to celebrate her life. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10:00 am, until the time of the service, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery in Callao, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Randy Johnson Memorial Fund or the Callao Cemeteries Association.
