Juanita "Monkey" Mayo Obituary
Juanita Joyce Mayo, more affectionately known as "Monkey" to her family and friends, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the age of 81. She was known for her warm spirit and the love she shared with those around her.
Monkey was a godly woman who deeply loved her church family at Calvary Hill Pentecostal Church in Vernon, Florida. In addition to her devotion to her faith, Monkey loved her family dearly. She enjoyed fishing and had a passion for baking.
A visitation to honor Juanita will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Central Time at James & Sikes Funeral Home - Maddox Chapel located at 4278 Lafayette St, Marianna, FL 32446. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM Central Time. Interment will follow at Round Lake Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
Juanita "Monkey" Joyce Mayo's legacy of love will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will always be loved and missed dearly.
