Judith "Judie" Lynn Miller, 80, of Milford passed away on July 20, 2025 while surrounded by her loving family. Judie was born on November 1, 1944 in
Milford, CT to the late Chester Nomejko and Carol Smith Harvey. Judie's father passed away when Judie was only 8 years old and was raised by her adopted father, the late Kenneth Harvey.
She met the love of her life, Raymond Miller Sr, and after he worked up the courage to ask her out at Paul's Hamburgers, the rest was history. They married just seven months later in a church ceremony in Alexandria, Virginia, beginning a beautiful 63-year journey together.
Judie, a lifelong resident of Milford, attended Jonathan Law High School. She was employed at Schick Razor, dedicating 34 years of hard work until her retirement where she spent part of her time in Naples, Fl.
In Florida, Judie enjoyed playing golf with Ray and friends. She was especially proud of her hole-in-one. She had a love for travel and cherished sunny days taking long drives with her husband.
Judie enjoyed and benefitted tremendously as a participant in the Aphasia Program at Sacred Heart University.
Whether shopping, cooking, or laughing with friends, Judie brought a vibrant energy to everything she did. A strong, determined, and endlessly loving woman, she never missed a chance to support her children and grandchildren in their lives, or simply enjoy the company of her husband. Her unwavering positivity and devotion to her family will be remembered always.
Judie is survived by her beloved husband, Ray and their three children: Cherie Giambra (Stephen), Robin Moran, and Raymond Miller Jr. Six grandchildren: Timothy Moran Jr. (Hannah Cruz), Stephen Giambra (Jessica Kinser), Jason Giambra (Jessica Sanders), Ryan Giambra, Brianna Miller, and Lindsay Miller. Siblings: Robert Harvey (Carole), Cheryl Skirmont (Anthony), Richard Harvey (Leanne), and Deborah Massicotte (Joseph), and brother in-law Douglas Miller (Zita) and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her mother in-law Mable Barron Miller and father-in-law Leo Barron.
The Miller family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Bridgeport Hospital and St Vincent's Hospital for the loving care they provided to Judie over the past 5 months.
