Judith Wiget Obituary

On February 15, 1964 in St. Louis, she was united in marriage to Frank Wiget and to this union two children were born. She was employed for a few years as a bookkeeper in a local St. Louis bank. During those years, Judy enjoyed playing on a bowling team. In 1976, she and Frank moved to Steelville where he opened up a body shop and Judy helped run the financial end of their business.
Judy was a member of the Steelville Presbyterian Church and in past years, loved singing in the choir. She also enjoyed spending time 'antiquing' during her spare time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August John and Viola Agricola; her husband, Frank Wiget; and son, David Wiget.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kathy (Edward) Pearson of Cuba, MO; grandchildren, Edward "Buddy" (Alli) Pearson II of Germantown Hills, IL, Dorthea Michelle (Spencer) Templeton of St. Charles, MO and Crystal Ann Wiget of Steelville, MO; great-grandchildren, Edward III and Benjamin Pearson and Kaiden and Meryn Templeton; brother, Richard (Shirley) Agricola of Durham, NC; nephew, Jeffrey (Shannon) Agricola; other relatives; and friends.
Graveside Services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 in the Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, MO with Bill Bennett officiating.
Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery. Honored to be casket bearers were Edward Pearson, Edward Pearson II, Spencer Templeton, Crystal Wiget, Michelle Templeton and Alli Pearson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Steelville Schools Scholarship Foundation Fund, c/o of Britton-Bennett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 457, Steelville, MO 65565
