Funeral Services for Judy Diane Burkett Dunn, 79, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, July 10, 2025 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Jon Tellifero officiating. Interment will follow in the Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM until service time on Thursday.
Judy was born on July 2, 1946 in Monroe, LA and passed away on July 5, 2025 in West Monroe, LA. She was a founding member of Faith Church and a faithful servant committed to her church family. Judy worked at Super1 Pharmacy in Monroe for 25 years and grew to love her work family and customers. Judy also enjoyed serving at the Northeast Louisiana Foodbank and the Salvation Army. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Earl Burkett and Pauline Haney Burkett.
Survivors include her children, Ricky Dunn and wife Lori, Brett Dunn and wife Pamela, and Trina Dunn; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; faithful companion, Buddy; and ex-husband, James Dunn.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Dunn, James Dunn, Brett Dunn, Bobby Baker, Johnny Williams, and Thoryn Ferrington. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Graves and Wayne Hart.
