Judy Resch Obituary

Judy was born on September 8, 1942, in Richview, IL, the daughter of Coburn and Vera "Maxine" (nee Whittenberg) Newcomb. She was united in marriage to Leonard Resch on October 26, 1963 at St. Louis, MO and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1998.
Judy was a paraprofessional for the Northwest R-1 School District in House Springs, MO. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of the High Ridge Mother's Club and the PTA. Judy lived in House Springs, MO for 46 years and then moved to Lee's Summit for 9 years. She will always be remembered as a kind and loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. Judy enjoyed taking care of others and had a heart of gold.
Left to mourn her passing is her son Joe Resch and wife Melissa; daughter, Stacy Barbee and husband Brad; grandsons, Braedan and Kellen Barbee; 2 brothers, Randy Newcomb and wife Chris and Denny Newcomb and wife Sandy; sister, Gale McClendon and husband Jerry; sister-in-law, Eileen Koenegstein; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers-in-law, and sister-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, IL on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 11 A.M. Interment will follow in the Richview Cemetery in Richview, IL.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, IL on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the Richview Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.

I am so sorry to hear about Judy. We went to Richview and Ashley school together before I transferred to Centralia. Our mothers were good friends. Sending prayers.
