Julia Grace Warmbrod of Belvidere, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Elk River Nursing Center in Winchester, Tennessee at the age of 95 years.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Burial will follow at Winchester, City Cemetery in Winchester, Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
Julia was born on August 9, 1930, in Belvidere to the late John Earl ("Chick") and Mary Lou (Osborne) Warmbrod. She graduated from Central High School in Winchester in 1949 and went on to work as a bookkeeper for several Franklin County businesses, including Buchanan Studebaker Dealership and Dr. Joe Anderton. Later in life, she and her father owned and operated Warmbrod Antiques, where they sold and lovingly refinished fine antiques, drawing customers from near and far. A faithful and devoted member of First United Methodist Church for many years, Julia taught first and second grade Sunday School, where her young students fondly remember learning the books of the Bible under her gentle guidance. She also served on various church committees and was a cherished member of the "Saturday Morning Prayer Group," a ministry of encouragement that sent handmade cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and
uplifting messages to countless people. Most recently, she became one of the founding members of Winchester Methodist Church, established in 2024, where she continued her card and telephone ministry, even after becoming homebound. She radiated joy as a source of connection and kindness to others. Her home was always available for a visit, and her heart was always open to others. She was also active in her community through the Farris Chapel Home Demonstration Club and maintained a deep love and knowledge of local and family history, which she shared generously with those around her. Born with a birth injury that resulted in physical limitations, Julia's life was a testament to perseverance, independence, and joy. She lived independently until age 94, when she made the decision to move to a nursing home. Even then, she retained her sharp mind, quick wit, and the resilient spirit that endeared her to so many. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John Warmbrod, and his wife, Bettye Swann Warmbrod; her sister-in-law, Anita Warmbrod; and her nephew, Troy Warmbrod. She is survived by her brother, Joe Warmbrod; her nieces, Barbara "Babs" Feaster (Joe) and Sharon "Sheri" Gamble (Jeff); her nephew, Eric
Warmbrod (Lori); and her great-nieces and nephews: Rachel Crossland (Travis), Amber Heath (Max), Shelby Warmbrod, and Riley Warmbrod, her great great nieces and nephew Chloe Crossland, Elizabeth "Libby" Heath and Maxwell Heath. Julia was a joyful, thankful, and deeply content woman who lived a life
centered around her love for God, her family, her friends, and the simple pleasures of home-especially anything sweet, most of all chocolate. She never met a stranger and established life-long friends very easily. Her positive disposition provided a continued source of encouragement for all who crossed her path. Julia's legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength will live on in the many lives she touched. She will be profoundly missed. Her family is deeply grateful to the many dear friends who supported Julia's
independence in her later years. Your care and friendship meant the world to her.
In lieu of flowers, Julia would appreciate memorial donations to be made to the Winchester Methodist Church (209 South Jefferson Street, Suite 1040, Winchester, Tennessee

Just heard of Julia's passing was totally shocked! She was such a sweet lady. She had lots of loving family and friends that would visit her. I used to work there, recently lost my job because I've been out of work due to knee pain having to get an MRI they decided to terminate me before I could get the help I truly need. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. Soooo sad We would chat often once she knew I too lived in Belvidere. Going to miss her dearly.
