Justin William Dziesinski, 44, of Alpena passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at his home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Justin was born July 25, 1980, in Alpena to William and Susan (Wagner) Dziesinski. On July 21, 2001, he married Laura Hansen. Justin was currently employed at MyMichigan Medical Center. He was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. Justin was active in Alpena County 4-H and AHS FFA. He enjoyed playing guitar, camping, hunting, fishing, entertaining everyone, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Laura; two children, Abigail, Matthew; parents Bill Dziesinski, Susan (Mike) Eller; sister, April Haselhuhn; two brothers, Kristopher (Jessica) Dziesinski, Billy Dziesinski; seven nieces and nephews, Andrew, Blake, Nora, Miah, McKenzie, Wyatt, Emmett; two stepbrothers, Joshua Eller (fiancée Carol Fredricks), Tyler (Alyssa) Eller; and niece, Brielle. Also surviving are his in-laws, Dan & Jane Hansen; two sisters-in-law, Sarah (Mike) Fetters, Kristen (Alex) Wisniewski; five nephews, Ryan, Nick, Jackson, Weston, Leo; grandmother, Gail Hansen; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Felix & Genevieve Dziesinski and Otto & Erma Wagner.
Visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. followed by a 4th Degree Chalice Presentation. Visitation will continue Saturday at St. Casimir Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Donajkowski officiating.
Interment: Pilgrims Rest Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for the children.
