Karen Mae Brown Gipson age 59 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, July 08, 2025 at the Cable Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. She was born November 27, 1965 at Albion, Michigan to the late Allen and Kathleen McKenzie Brown.
Survived by three sons, Gerald "Daniel" Williams of Kentucky, Chrisopher Williams of Michigan, Trever Joseph (Jessica) Rodesiler of Indiana, two daughters, Amber Luella (Dennis) Rodesiler, Haley Mae (Josh) Rodesiler both of Michigan, four brothers, Lennie Brown of Oklahoma, Owen Brown of Staffordsville, Kentucky, Alden Brown of Salyersville, Kentucky, Dwayne Brown of Indiana, two sisters, Linda Crisp of Oklahoma, Mary Evelyn Brown of Michigan, ten grandchildren, Paige, Brooklynn, Brayla, Greyson, Mephis, Mavarick, Brevin, Zayden, Elaina, Makayla, one great grandchild, father of her children, Daniel "Boone" Rodesiler, special friend, Charles Gipson, with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by three brothers, Ray Brown, Curtis Lee Brown, Aaron Brown, and one sister, Brenda Gipson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 11, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with James Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Cain Cemetery at Salyersville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
