Karl K. Friend, 80, of Tallmadge, Ohio, passed away on July 6, 2025. Born on February 5, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a man of faith and a devoted husband to Patricia D. Friend and a loving father to Kimberly & Robert Pierce. His family and his pets were his world.Karl was hard working and dedicated to the construction field. He was raised on and loved working in his families farm, where he developed his love for gardening and being outdoors. He was a very proud veteran of the US Air Force. Karl was a man of integrity, kindness, & generosity. He left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He is loved by everyone. Karl was preceded in death by his wife Patricia D. Friend; his parents Frank and Loretta Friend; brothers Sony and Bill (Helen) Friend and sister Linda Wade.He is survived by his children Kim & Robert Pierce; niece Kim Layton, along with many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly. A special thanks to Hospice of Summa, especially Gina.Karl will be cremated and his ashes, along with those of his wife, will be spread in the wilderness.Always loved, never forgotten; at peace with God, Rest in peace.

We are so sorry to hear about Karl´s passing. I´ve never met a kind of soul in my life. He was such a good man you always had a smile on his face. His last name was a great description of who Karl was to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed.
