In Loving Memory of Kathleen Sharon Jentsch (Wey)
January 26th, 1956 – July 13, 2025
Kathleen "Kathy" Sharon Jentsch (Wey) passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2025. She is survived by her devoted husband, Douglas Jentsch; her beloved sons, Matthew Jentsch, Nicholas Jentsch, and Jason Vallem; and her cherished siblings, Robert, Cecile, and Nancy Wey.
Kathy was a masterful seamstress and one of the most talented upholsterers in the country. Her hands brought life to fabric in ways few could imagine. She had an extraordinary gift for craftsmanship, creativity, and problem solving, which she expressed in every piece she touched.
But Kathy's deepest passion was caring for animals-especially cats. She founded and operated Purr-fect Sanctuary, a haven for cats of all conditions. There, she poured her heart into rescuing, nursing, and providing long-term care or adoption for countless animals. Her compassion knew no limits, and she gave each creature that came through her doors a chance at a better life.
Kathy's selflessness extended beyond animals. She was known for her unwavering commitment to helping others, always placing their needs before her own. Despite ongoing health challenges, her strength, generosity, and faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses remained constant. She lived by example, showing love, kindness, and resilience in every aspect of her life.
Kathy leaves behind a legacy of love, care, and boundless dedication. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
