Kathleen Mary Murray, a beloved wife, mother, grandparent and friend, sadly left our world on July 27th. Her 90 years were filled with faith, adventure, kindness, service, humor and strength.
Kath was born in London in 1935 and met her soulmate John Murray there. They spent the rest of their lives together traveling the world. They were an inspirational, loving, loyal and respected team - on the tennis court, the bridge table, the dance floor and everywhere they went.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Peter (Cheryl), Clare, Angela (Guy) and Jane (Tony), and her six grandchildren, Emily, Kevin, Darcy, Travis, Sean and Griffin, and her two great grandchildren, Liam and Keira.
Losing our mother is like losing our anchor, but she had no fear of death as she had lived deeply. We are comforted by the thoughts of her enjoying her reward in heaven with her family and husband that met her there with love.
In Kathleen's memory, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Lazarus Project, make a check payable to St. Cornelius Church, 5500 E. Wardlow Rd., Long Beach, CA 90808.
